The taste gap

The taste gap is a somewhat obvious, but nonetheless worthwhile truism that especially as beginners to a creative field your taste improves faster than your ability to execute.

The inevitable outcome of this is disappointment in your own work. Having the taste to see the flaws but lacking the skills to be able to address them.

The only way is through. Set deadlines, make a lot of things, narrow the gap.
