Laboratory

Honestly a bit confused what the aim was here. We built a corridor, a tank and a squid monster in the course but this feels like an awkward composition to me based on the angles needed to see all the different components.

The instruction was just to “fill out” the missing space. But from my attempt here I’m not seeing that there’s really all that much space left to fill. A bit lacking in inspiration here. I may have another go tomorrow as I really didn’t spend very long on this due to lack of inspiration. But more likely I think I’ll just leave it and move on for now.

I don’t think I’ve properly grasped the relationship between the topology and shading properly, especially when you add in the subdivision surface modifier so will look for supplementary materials for that and make sure I practice it further.
